Want to spruce up my media room with POSTERS...

Everything not diecast related; and yes that includes the kitchen sink!

Want to spruce up my media room with POSTERS...

Post by [KRAFTIG] » Wed Feb 10, 2016 9:17 am

I'm thinking about adding a couple of vintage posters. Someone like the Ferrari and Porsche below. What are your thoughts and recommendations? Any place that sells and has a good selection on large format posters? TIA!

Wow I love those. If you ever buy car magazines, they have a lot of ads in the back for websites that sell these. I see them in Octane and Motorsport.

Those ones look good! What website did you find those from? You may have to check out other forums like rennlist and ferrarichat.

Through my internet browsing awhile ago I did notice that Collector Studio sells vintage prints. You should sit down before looking at the prices though

Those are awesome posters...very classy looking, too.

I LOVE that one with the 3 917's...might have to look for that one.

I'm eager to hear some responses as I would love to get some myself. I can picture a poster of a Porsche 959 with chief engineer of the Porsche 959, Helmut Bott's saying "you can not do it alone"

They were the catalyst for this thread, but like usual their pricing caters to the 1% group. I found the same posters about 50% cheaper :money: :money:

I came across that site recently as well. Thinking of pulling the trigger on a few as well. Wondering if their prices are in US dollars or Euros. Beautiful work by the looks of it.

Wow...those are all nice. I love them all, but like Gavin, I especially dig the 917 poster.

I haven't been around here much because I am in the process of moving. I hope to eventually have a proper space in which to display most of my diecasts for the first time ever (Yay!), so I may have to get at least one of these or at least something similar once I am settled and get a chance to figure out my display space.

Looks great! Do you have any pics of them on the wall? Would love to see. How your media room is set up. I always appreciate some good room porn.
