I heard the news earlier today. I reviewed on of his Indycar just recently, a legend is lost... RIP fine sir!

This is very sad news, indeed. He is an American legend. I'm still fascinated by his achievements and life. The story about spraying champagne and that becoming a podium tradition is one of the things that that amazes me. I got to see his MkIV GT40 with the "Gurney bubble" when I was a kid at the Ford Museum in Michigan.
