Wow! All of them are just beautiful. So how this type of kit work? You buy the basic kit from one party and hire someone else to paint and assemble? What are the costs here? TIA

Hi KRAFTIG....

Yes, either you can search and purchase the kit yourself, or request if the builder can source or even sell one from their

personal collection...:)

The two P4/5 Competizione's models....I purchased from a private collector in Japan for $800 each...

It would have cost me roughly the same price had I bought the kits separately, ($100 each)

and had them built at $675-700 per kit...

In additional, a minimum 2-3 month waiting period (maybe longer) to have those two completed...(Builder is very busy, and have projects going on for other clients)

A very nice bonus to buy those two outright... :D :D :D

The 911 GT2 project, I commissioned several years ago from another builder

Bought the kit for about $80 and the building fee was $550, as I recall...

Final cost depends on how far you end up to taking it...

Additional modifications, scratch built parts, etc. will quickly drive up the cost...

Right now, I currently have two more commissioned projects going on with the first builder...

A 430 Scuderia and Mclaren F1...

Will be finished in the following colors... :D :D

Stay Tuned.... :D :D :D

Absolutely STUNNING! The available variety in 1:43 is just infinite it seems. BTW the Lamborghini Miura Concept is perfect!

Lots of models I wish were made in 1:18, especially the Mazda Furai, which unfortunately burned down.

Thank you, KRAFTIG...
There is also a nice Miura Concept in White with gold wheels floating around that looks pretty good too... :D :D

Wesley....Don't wish anymore....

Venture into 1/43, and you can have pretty much anything you lust after... :D :D

I started out collecting 1/18, and it quickly got old after a year or so....Very frustrating to see models in color variations you want never getting out there...Patience ran out... :D

Oh I'm very patient and my wish list has like 250-300 models still, and always growing. Maybe if I ever manage to get through all of it, I'll get into 1/43

Wow, these models are a feast for the eye. Amazing detail considering the size of the models. And that Caparo, just unreal. After their first car never heard of them again. Pity.
