I'll find out next week!

There's a lot of damage - there are some parts with it, as you can see, but the floor of the car is almost entirely gone. Any repair I could attempt would be amateur at best, and for something as rare as this, I think that wouldn't be the right move.

Agreed. Leave it to the pros. Keep us in the loop on how it turns out!

I thought it would sell out pretty quickly given Kimi's popularity at that point, but it's still in stock on their website five years later, and is currently discounted.

Picked this one up recently for my Jenson Button collection. Love the look of it with the posh packaging, carbon plinth etc. It's got the names of both drivers on the car, and no race number, so it's a pretty cool thing to own. They were made as corporate gifts for Richard Mille clients/guests.

It's also the first 1:18 Spark model I've owned. I really like it. The colours are so vibrant on the red decals and the metallic paint is superb. Detailing all over is very good - the steering wheel has all the dials moulded and painted, the panel lines are really crisp and all the slots in the wings are cutout as they should be. The only things that let is down are that the front wing is leaning back slightly, and the rear tyres look a tad too narrow - about 3mm when compared to a Minichamps.

One shot from the studio to begin with. I'll add more later.

That is beautiful. Spark F1 models are usually well done, this one is no exception.

Thanks. I think it's my new favourite piece in the whole collection. Not sure if I should remove it and put it in the cabinet or just keep it safe in the box. Wouldn't seem so special if it was in the cabinets with the rest.

Couple more pics.

Lovely. Use some darker backdrops so I can use the images here on DS :)

Why does the backdrop colour stop you from using them?

I see. Well, there's some shots against a black backdrop on the previous pages you're welcome to use.

I mostly do white because I like the clean background, and I shoot models for a friend's website and he likes the white too.
