Hello again,
This is my 2nd post here. Mostly this post will depend upon if I can figure out how to add a pict.? If not, I'm sorry for wasted your time.
I have a 1959 Toyopet ashtray. I am guessing is considered a diecast car? It is metal at 8 1/2" long and what I think is very heavy at almost 3 lbs.
I'm guessing it is a promo for the first Toyota sold in the U.S. called the "TOYOPET"? It is a gold/copper color with a removable roof with the ashtray inside and something cast in Japanese on the underside.
First, is it something that I should even be asking about a diecast forum? Does anyone here know what it actually is and does it have any value?
Sorry, I used to "add attachments". I don't know how to add picts here? I'll try to figure it out.
Thanks again for your time and any help,
Karl.
Is this considered a diecast car and what it?
