The collection grew by 31 pieces over 2018 to date. Some of my favourites are noted below in bold with photos. Some aren't the best executed or the most detailed but I love the car itself. Share your list here too!

I am bad. I don't want to know the number. It's got to have grown by 50-75 cars easy.

I don’t know the exact figures, but mine grew by maybe 15-20 cars, but I also sold around 20 cars. So it’s almost like nothing happened! ;)

Well, I've been on a kick of buying tamiya rereleased rc cars for about 18 months and have been out of diecast completely for a bit. The lousy weather for painting had me stuck with 10 or so projects waiting to finish until I can get weather to paint 1/10 scale bodies...

Well a bout 4 weeks back I saw some aa cars on the clearance rack including the z432 and the tuned mazda fd so I picked up the pair for under 200.

Then I found an aa bmw 3.0 csl #10 for a great price. Then an aa series 1 etype coupe original release. Then saw the new composite delorean that looks better then the diecast one, so why not?

Also saw the aa alfa tipo 33tt race car was on discount, then finally a nib 930 3.0 martini stripe for under 200, then figured I should get a McLaren f1 lm while they're still out with an Ebay coupon, then found a kyo 365 gtb/4 for a song. The mrs is none too pleased :D she made me hold off on opening the delorean for Christmas and just wrapped the entire shipping box.

I’m pretty proud that of those 38 only 13 are sealed and 25 proper opening die-casts :D

Also I made my first garage diorama in 2018. Still very happy with that one.

Well, as memory serves me:

Tamiya Frog re-re (unstarted in box)

Tamiya Frog re-re, custom super-soft suspension, in process of getting a baja beetle hardbody weathered/rustbucket runner/scaler(in-paint)

Tamiya Frog original, rebuilt with new parts for the boy(runner)

Tamiya Blackfoot Re-Re, built runner body awaiting paint

Tamiya Blackfoot original first release 1986, was filthy with a horrific paint job. After disassembly and stripping all paint, turns out it was never run without a scratch. Came out museum-quality new, even original 1986 tires. All original Airtronics radio set restored(will be a shelf queen)

Tamiya SRB re-re Sand Sorcher X2, one complete build awaiting paint, one NIB, one spare body

Tamiya SRB F150 chasis completely restored, Spare blackfoot body awaiting conversion and paint. Sourced original grille/tailgate parts

Tamiya SRB Rough rider, original chassis completely restored, re-re body with vintage decals(almost done), vintage radio set

Tamiya 934 1/10 scale Jagermeister x 2, one built one NIB. Built one getting two bodies with interiors(vaillant and Jager liveries), one body nearly done, interior in progress.

Tamiya Isuzu MU (Amigo), full built with custom scale/mild crawler parts. Body awaiting paint

Tamiya Hornet Re-re, built box art for a shelfer, waiting on original sponsor decals

Tamiya Brat Re-re, built but body awaiting paint.

Kyosho Tomahawk re-re, built awaiting final electronics installation(chassis is a work of art on these).

Tamiya F104W Ferrari 312 F1 new release, NIB

Some other stuff, enough to build about 4 more various cars, most of an original countach, a couple rough riders, etc that need restoration.

Also have my Traxxas Slash brushless and rampage, and a bunch of other stuff (modern)

Between Tamiya raising prices about 30% this fall, not being able to paint, and continued purchases of original cars with grinding restorations, I started looking up diecasts on ebay again, and low and behold they start multiplying like rabbits :) I forgot to add another purchase, AA 1974 Turbo Martini #22, now I have all 3 of them...

Need to find another hosting site as I can't upload direct to here.

Here's the blackfoot from this:

Love it! I've had a few too. Back in the day. I had this one from Kyosho, Turbo Scorpion. It was a blast and build like a tank, all metal parts, gear-box too. I believe they recently released it.

Heh the tomahawk is the same essential car with a flat chassis instead of the tub for racing. :okay:

Kyosho pretty much stomped everyone on the race circuit before the associated buggies showed up.

Those Tamiyas bring back my childhood. My neighbor had the Lunchbox and ULTRA $$$ Bruiser. I had a Clod Buster, a BlackFoot and a Jeep Wrangler with 4WD and lacy gold wheels.

I ran the numbers. 80-85 cars. Oof. I think I'll slow down in 2019.
