Videos of model cars performing action and driving

Post by WheelofFortune » Wed Mar 27, 2019 10:08 am

Hi Guys,

I do love the review videos of diecast cars showing the details from different angles. One thing that I think is missing from these videos, however, is some kind of action, i.e. seeing the car being driven or pushed. Seeing the wheels spin and the car move I think adds an additional layer of satisfaction.

I recently starting making videos of cars in my collection, with the focus of performing some kind of action and driving. It is quite difficult to get good close-up videos of driving model cars without shaking the camera too much. I would like to know what you guys think and what your opinions are:

Thanks!

Not sure what to think. Is there an audience for cars on the go?

If you could do a stop-motion or just make the hand 'disappear' it will give a better impression of a real vehicle.

Personally, a model that roles nicely gives much gratification.

An interesting concept nonetheless.

Yes, it seems that there is and audience for pretty much anything nowadays. There are other videos of similar nature with many views.

I agree, stop-motion is a nice idea but would require too much time and resources for me to execute.

Yes, I believe so.
