Re: ACME Sidchrome 1969 Ford Boss 302 Trans Am Mustang
This car was never a trans am car. It was built from a road going Boss 302 to the New Zealand Saloon Car Championship regs. After a year of racing in NZ it was further modified to run in the Australian Sports Sedan Championship. ACME need to do their research a bit better, or DDA who organized this through ACME.

The car is close to correct, it is just the description. I for one will be getting it.

I don't, and won't, and are about halfway to boycotting ACME for putting out falsely advertised crap like this.[KRAFTIG] wrote:LOL, so why do people by these models then?Malscar wrote:This car was never a trans am car. As soon as it was announced, I sent an email back to them, and let them know that their advertising is misleading.
If all the Boss 302's that ACME says were "Trans Am" racers actually raced in the Trans Am, it would have looked like a spec series, with nothing other than Mustangs.
Apparently they have updated some of the molds for this one, but they really need to be accurate in their marketing.
