Small update from the interior, which strangely enough has cost a lot of time. The NOS bottle with holder is ready. The body consists of a 8 mm polystyrene tube. As a hemisphere, I have halved a plastic ball with the same diameter in the middle, glued and ground hard until it fits. The first to be painted was Tamiya Silver and then two layers of Tamiya Clear Blue. The holder consists of 1 mm polystyrene plates:

The interior is finish. Fuel lines and power cable from the trunk have been laid next to the drive shaft tunnel. The driver take a seat on a Recaro seat with Sparco belts (TK Diecast) and seat rails (Tremonia). A few electronic devices were placed in the passenger side. The roll cage is just plugged in and will be glued during the final assembly (you never know if something comes in between):

Next, continue with the engine.
I started with the radiator. So that the engine does not overheat in racing, I really wanted a cooler with a rear fan.

The radiator is made of polystyrene and corrugated plates from Evergreen:

Making the fan was not easy and took a lot of time. The base for the case consists of a 2 mm polystyrene plate in which I ground a hole in the middle. The grid consists of 0.5 x 0.5 mm strips. For the fixings on the radiator I used screws M0,6 and I also laid a power cable:

That's pretty sharp looking. Did you use silver paint or chrome pen perhaps?

@StratosWRC: the cooling plates are painted in matt silver and for the housing (above and below) i was using Dupli Color chrome spray.

Small but time-consuming advances are in the cylinder heads, valve covers and manifolds. The adapter plates for the manifolds were made of 0.5 mm polystyrene plates. The fixing screws are M0.6. The manifold consists of 3 mm fitting solder.

The engine is slowly taking shape. The ignition system was installed and I have attached the cylinder heads. The ignition cables have a diameter of 0.65 mm. So that the cables can not hang around wild, I have built clips. The end of the headers looking a bit rough, but it will not be visible when installed.

As described at the beginning of the report, the engine gets a Cross Ram intake.

The pipes are made of polystyrene, the funnels are from Uli Nowak. And because I like these small M 0.6 screws so much, the base plates that go into the cylinder heads also have some.

The engine was also fixed in the engine bay. The intake is only placed on top of it without gluing since the fuel rails including A/N fittings are installed.
