1) What first got you collecting diecast? How long have you been collecting? What is your total model count as of today?

I always have interested in cars since I was young. But what really got me started collect diecast was the movie The Fast and The Furious ( part 1 and 2 ). I’ve been collecting since 2002 ( with a few years off in between because of studies, work and stuffs ). As in Jan. 2017, I have about 240-250 cars.

2) What was your first diecast or memory?

It was the Porsche Boxster made by Maisto in 1:18 scale but I’ve sold it about 2 years ago.

3) What is your favourite scale, and why?

1:18 is my favourite scale because it has most of the features on the real car but do not take so much space like 1:12. Besides, you will have a lot more choices in 1:18.

4) What are some of your favourite models to date? Did you share any photos with us?

My most favourite models are the Ferrari F430’s. I can never have enough of them I guess, hehe. Yes, I’ve sent you guys some photos of my collection.

5) Is there a model that has eluded you, a holy grail of sorts?

There are quite a few!

6) What is your favourite brand/manufacturer, and why?

I’d say like AUTOart, BBR, CMC, Exoto, Kyosho, the good old Hot Wheels Elite and GT Spirit because of all the details they have in their cars.

7) Describe your current theme and what your overall goal is?

I think there is no theme. I just buy whatever I like, from classic to modern, from race to street version. My goal now is to get as much F430 as I can, in different colors and scale haha.

8) Do you display your collection? If yes, how?

Yes, I have some cabinets for my cars.

9) Do you have any other hobbies, passions or addictions?

No, not enough that I can consider a hobby of passion at this moment.

10) What do you think about the diecast hobby as it stands today?

It’s getting more and more expensive but the quality is going down for a few company. But hey, that’s just my personal opinion.

11) If you could change one thing about the diecast hobby what would that be?

Please make more cars with opening features. What’s up with all those sealed models lately :(

12) Do you modify cars? If yes, what are some examples?

No, I wanted to do it but I didn’t have the skills hehe.

13) What does your spouse, partner or significant other think of your hobby and your collection?

14) What is your daily driver?

Guess what?? A family car Opel Zafira haha.
