1) What first got you collecting diecast? How long have you been collecting? What is your total model count as of today?

I have been collecting diecast for more than 5 years. I have 110+ models now, most of them are 1:18 scale.

2) What was your first diecast or memory?

By far, the AUTOart Lamborghini LP700.

3) What is your favourite scale, and why?

I love 1:18 scale and diecast models overall, I do not prefer resin models.  They are lots of fun to touch and play diecast cars.

4) What are some of your favourite models to date? Did you share any photos with us?

CMC Ferrari 250 GTO and AUTOart Pagani Huayra.  High level of detail!

5) Is there a model that has eluded you, a holy grail of sorts?

CMC Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.

6) What is your favourite brand/manufacturer, and why?

I love the quality of CMC, but it is expensive. I think Almost Real is doing well now, good price and overall execution.

7) Describe your current theme and what your overall goal is?

Actually, I don’t have the theme for my collection. I will continually collect the model cars until there is no space in my house.

8) Do you display your collection? If yes, how?

Yes, I display all my collections.

9) Do you have any other hobbies, passions or addictions?

I love sports, especially basketball and baseball.

10) What do you think about the diecast hobby as it stands today?

It is an expensive hobby and becoming more and more expensive.  It also drives me to make more money.

11) If you could change one thing about the diecast hobby what would that be?

Nothing!  I love diecast cars. No need to change anything.

12) Do you modify cars? If yes, what are some examples?

No.

13) What does your spouse, partner or significant other think of your hobby and your collection?

She doesn’t like I spend money on diecast collection. However, she can only accept it. Because I don’t have any disgusting hobby, such as smoking and drinking.

14) What is your daily driver?

Mercedes-Benz E200.
