1) What first got you collecting diecast? How long have you been collecting? What is your total model count as of today?

I have always been into cars. I raced RC cars for about three years and last year, I acquired my first 1:18-scale Porsche model. As they say, the rest is history.

2) What was your first diecast or memory?

1:18 Porsche 911 GT3 RS by Bburago.

3) What is your favourite scale, and why?

1:18 as the attention to detail some of the higher-end manufacturers put into these models is truly something. True art form!

4) What are some of your favourite models to date? Did you share any photos with us?

My Exoto Porsche 904 and my Schuco RSR widebody.

5) Is there a model that has eluded you, a holy grail of sorts?

It’s going to sound stupid but so far a decent Ferrari F40 seems to be my unicorn at the moment.

6) What is your favourite brand/manufacturer, and why?

AUTOart, Exoto, Norev.  They provide a solid assortment of scale models I prefer.  Some are more affordable than others!

7) Describe your current theme and what your overall goal is?

I currently try to stick to the Porsche and Ferrari brands. I do like the Rauh-Welt Porsche lines as well.

8) Do you display your collection? If yes, how?

Yes, I have display cases that display the cars.

9) Do you have any other hobbies, passions or addictions?

Yes, once had a passion for flying RC airplanes and racing RC cars!

10) What do you think about the diecast hobby as it stands today?

I think it’s a very exciting hobby and it requires one to meet new people and make friends with people as it is all about connections to find the models you looking for. So far I have met some very interesting people through this hobby.

11) If you could change one thing about the diecast hobby what would that be?

Nothing that I can think of off-hand at the moment.

12) Do you modify cars? If yes, what are some examples?

No.

13) What does your spouse, partner or significant other think of your hobby and your collection?

My wife and children support the hobby. My son also collects 1:64 cars.

14) What is your daily driver?

2019 Ford Ranger Bi-Tubo Wild Trak.
