1) What first got you collecting diecast? How long have you been collecting? What is your total model count as of today?

My father gave me 3 1:18 scale Ferraris when I was younger and my older cousin was collecting at the time so I also went to check out his collection which inspired me. I’ve been collecting for about 15 years. The total count is about 180 1:18 models.

2) What was your first diecast or memory?

My father’s 1:18 360 Modena.

3) What is your favourite scale, and why?

1:18 for sure!!! Most variety and great size for display.  The prefect compromise of price and detail.

4) What are some of your favourite models to date? Did you share any photos with us?

Yes. Koenigsegg Jesko, Bugatti Chiron Hermes, Bugatti Divo and SP3 Daytona.

5) Is there a model that has eluded you, a holy grail of sorts?

No really!  I honestly love all of them!

6) What is your favourite brand/manufacturer, and why?

BBR and Fronti-Art for Koenigsegg replicas are very good at what they produce for this marque. IMO I think they have the best quality control in the game!

7) Describe your current theme and what your overall goal is?

I collect Hypercars and Supercars. I don’t have a specific goal. I just collect what I love.

8) Do you display your collection? If yes, how?

I do not display the whole collection at the moment but the dream is to build a room with a glass wall and shelving to display the cars.

9) Do you have any other hobbies, passions or addictions?

I love to drive supercars, join car rallies, play tennis and ping pong and I love to travel and experience new things.

10) What do you think about the diecast hobby as it stands today?

Very promising and definitely here to stay.  I think as time goes on some of the limited edition cars will only grow in value as there as collectors growing each year from around the world!

11) If you could change one thing about the diecast hobby what would that be?

I wouldn’t change a thing.

12) Do you modify cars? If yes, what are some examples?

Nope, absolutely not!

13) What does your spouse, partner or significant other think of your hobby and your collection?

My family loves it and calls me the car guy!

14) What is your daily driver?

2020 Jeep Rubicon Recon.

Beautiful collection! I love that you’re able to focus on the higher end supercars the detail really shows. La Voiture Noire is a stunning vehicle! I would love to have that and a Bugatti Mistral in my collection, the BBR’s are unfortunately out of my price range, if I want to stay happily married. I have seen both of those at Pebble beach in Monterey. Great job! Good luck getting a room setup, the lighting is key to a great display case or room.
