1) What first got you collecting diecast? How long have you been collecting? What is your total model count as of today?

I’ve started in 2009 as I leave my parent’s home. I’ve changed many times ideas about scale and subject. Now I’m fine with a few models but high-level. Today I’ve 14 models only 1:43. I’m going to buy new models but the COVID stopped a lot of the purchases.

2) What was your first diecast or memory?

The Maserati MC12 from BBR is a built model from a kit realized by a friend of mine.

3) What is your favourite scale, and why?

It has to be 1:43 due to space :)

4) What are some of your favourite models to date? Did you share any photos with us?

These are among the photos I’m sharing with your right here, right now!

5) Is there a model that has eluded you, a holy grail of sorts?

The current holy grail is the Ferrari FxxK Evo Red by BBR.

6) What is your favourite brand/manufacturer, and why?

Make Up it is!  For their quality with no compromise.

7) Describe your current theme and what your overall goal is?

Simple, cars manufactured in my country, I’m from Italy so there’s a wire between me (I’m a mechanical engineer) and Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Pagani etc.  I’ve visited their plants too.

8) Do you display your collection? If yes, how?

Yes on a shelf.  I must admit I’m new to the display, so it is a work in progress!

9) Do you have any other hobbies, passions or addictions?

Reading and travel for the most part, sometimes books about cars stir my interest or travel to the museum of cars :)

10) What do you think about the diecast hobby as it stands today?

I think that if there’s something that makes you to feel better there’s no problem to follow it.

11) If you could change one thing about the diecast hobby what would that be?

Sincerely, nothing. I’m content with how it is.

12) Do you modify cars? If yes, what are some examples?

No, never.  They must represent the real car.

13) What does your spouse, partner or significant other think of your hobby and your collection?

She likes it too and she follows me!

14) What is your daily driver?

Toyota Yaris from 2005.
