Team AUTOart is teasing collectors with the first look at their upcoming 1:18 Huayra Roadster. Initial thoughts, it looks promising! The model shows shades of Huayras of the past and the Blue/Carbon weave looks delicious too. How many AUTOart composite haters will resist the temptation to add one? We’ll place an example under the microscope as soon as we possibly can.

Well, this particular car is definitely on my list, whether AA or AR remains to be seen. AA will probably coming to market faster and thereby reap much of the demand. And the AMG GT R shows that it is not sure at all that waiting for the AR rewards you with the better model.
And retailers have stated serious price increases for AR… 399$ for the Pagani(s). If those prices will become reality it’s surely AA who will get my money.
That might be justified because of their detachable wheels. But do we really need that? I, for one, don’t.
For the sake of true die-cast, in my case it definitely will be Almost Real.
Scales have tipped towards AUTOart unless you are prepared to pay 400 Euros for the Almost Real. That’s the new preorder sticker price my retailer has just given me.
