The Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm is a high-performance, track-focused version of the Giulia Quadrifoglio, created to celebrate Alfa Romeo’s 110th anniversary. The “GTAm” stands for Gran Turismo Alleggerita modificata, which translates to “lightened and modified grand tourer.” It’s a modern tribute to the brand’s racing heritage, especially the original Giulia GTA from the 1960s.

Powered by a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine producing 540 horsepower, the GTAm is more powerful than the standard Quadrifoglio. It’s also lighter, thanks to extensive use of carbon fiber in the hood, roof, front bumper, wheel arches, and even the interior. The car features a wider track, aggressive aerodynamics developed with Sauber Engineering, and a massive rear wing for added downforce.

Inside, the GTAm strips out the rear seats and adds a roll bar, racing harnesses, and Alcantara trim. It’s essentially a street-legal race car, with only 500 units produced, making it a rare and desirable collector’s item. The GTAm is all about performance purity—raw, fast, and utterly Italian.

When it comes to models, this one is every bit as striking as the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA we reviewed back in September 2024. While both cars share the same core platform, there are subtle differences in suspension tuning, aerodynamic elements, and interior detailing that set them apart.

For those following the buzz, the MotorHelix Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA earned top honors as DiecastSociety.com’s 2024 Model of the Year — a well-deserved win. Collectors have spoken, and we couldn’t agree more. This enhanced version of the GTAm should be on your shopping list too!  Enjoy the photos!
