The Jaguar XJR-S with its 6.0 litre V12 initiated the thirst, excuse me, the third and last generation of the XJS that had once replaced the E-Type (or XKE for the Americans) and was replaced in turn by the XK. In Top Gear Jeremy Clarkson reviewed it as the “big Brit bruiser” poking fun at its size, its thirst and other flaws, yet committing to it for its Britishness.
And that makes it fit in perfectly with Cult Scale´s theme. Enjoy the pictures!
Thanks Karsten for keeping the vintage/classic European replicas alive! Lovely piece!!
Thank you Karsten for the very nice pictures! As master Yoda would have said, temptation is strong with this one..
Nice pictures Karsten . I received my own in the exact same color some 40 days ago .
It is a nice effort by Cult Scale , though the price for a sealed resin model is a bit high , yet it is rather accurate and this petrol green color emphasizes the size of the car . Most unfortunately for all of us that are after some vintage (British or Italian ) cars it is always difficult to avoid the temptation , as. Kostas mentioned above .
A nice reminder anyway , what British auto industry could design and manufacture some few years ago .
