We got our hands on official images of the upcoming 1:8 scale Lamborghini Countach LP5000 QV and BMW M3 (E30). Both cars are iconic in their own right, each deservingly should be exposed on this grand scale. Who here has not had the Lamborghini Countach poster on their wall or cut photo from car magazine of day and placed it on the inside school door locker? The BMW M3 (E30) is considered the prize of BMW’s iconic M3 series and is highly sought after today… From 1:12 comes the official Red version of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. 1:18 sees official images of the upcoming Audi RS3 Sedan in Blue. Both examples are currently with their respective brands for final approval.

To answer the question: I did not have the Countach (or any other car poster for that matter), strange as this may seem when you find it as part of my collection logo. In fact I first saw it on Miami Vice and was blown away (as its name suggests). It goes without saying that I just cannot miss out on this and have put it on pre-order. I was always hoping for Pocher to make one and wish someone would make it 360-degree-accessible in this very version and scale.

I hope they make the Lamborghini in other colors. Neither 1:8 scale nor GT Spirit are part of my collection, but if the final production versions pass the DiecastSociety review then I might have to get one.
The first release of GTSpirit´s Countach in 1:8 was in red. I am not sure, but I believe in 1:18 it was released much earlier and the subject matter is pretty much exhausted in 1:18. I´d try to get one of the older releases by some or other manufacturer. I have got the white Kyosho. That or a diecast AUTOart are the best choice IMHO.
