Hello, I’ve seen these wheels used in other Acme “Street Fighter” series models. I’d like to know if these wheels actually spin and steer and if the brake discs move with the wheels or are in a fixed position. I see they sell those wheels even as spare parts to customize their models but it’s not clear if those are static pieces or what.
Not sure. We made a few requests with ACME to share some sample, nothing but execuses. Please contact them directly for answers.
I went to youtube for the missing information. looking for “acme street fighter 1:18” I found a different acme model but with the same wheels. So this is what I found: the brake disks and the brake calipers are a single piece …and they move with the wheels. So when or if you move the wheels you’ll se the brake calipers move too. I simply find this completely unacceptable for the kind of price they’re trying to sell these street fighter series models for. I ws kind of interested in a 1967 Shelby Gt500 Street Fighter by Acme with these wheels, but I think I’ll pass.
