I’m super excited about the 1/18 Leatherface- not excited about the truck. Greenlight has unveiled a 1/64 Ford Econoline Club Wagon (I think that’s what it was called) van like the one in Texas Chainsaw Massacre (or “Texas Chain Saw Massacre” like what’s on the poster)… that van is featured much more in the movie than this truck.
I would LOVE to see a 1/18 Ford van (that opens) like the one in the film, along with panel variations of it, etc etc etc. In a dream world, I’d love a set made up of their custom mid-70s Chevy van, a custom ’68-’74 Econoline van, and an early to mid ’70s custom Dodge van. All with shag carpeting, wood paneling inside, and trippy murals on the sides! :)
Also, I’m sorry, I know this is an old question, but I can’t find a definitive answer: Is Highway 61’s (now Greenlight’s) Chevy van 1/16 scale or 1/18? I’ve heard it’s absolutely 1/16, I’ve heard it was 1/18 but the boxes were mislabeled 1/16, I’ve seen a side-by-side of it with Hot Wheels’ A-Team van, but since the H61 van is a short wheelbase and the HW is a long wheelbase, it wasn’t a perfect comparison. Does anyone know for sure?
