It’s quite refreshing posting new bits from CMC. It doesn’t happen this often we are flooded with new products. The latest is once again a variant of the Ferrari 275 GTB, this is the Modena Giallo exterior, similar to what the team executed with their classic 1:18 Ferrari 250 GTO. Again, this model is limited to only 100o pieces.

I wouldn’t want to pay CMC prices for it, but I’d like to have it join my other CMC models I didn’t pay CMC money to have.
I’m apprehensive even to pay non-CMC prices unless I can have one where the hood isn’t sticking above the rest of the body. From all of the sample pictures it looks like some are worse than others but I haven’t seen one that looks good so this it’s likely just bad engineering and will be the case for all models unless modded.
Note, all models presented over the last few weeks are prototypes.
Granted that all the photos CMC has been showing are of prototypes, but…. their prototypes that they always show right before production of ALL models they have produced are always extremely close to what the final production models look like. The vast majority of flaws seen on their “prototypes” always exist on their final production models. (Different day, but same old problems.)
