NZG Models have released official images of their 1:12 Mercdes-Benz EQA in Red. This metal release features semi-access, however, we’re not to sure how many fans are tickled for a large-scale SUV.

Madness. A massive model of a boring electric SUV would be bad enough, but to not even bother making it fully opening is shoddy. I can only guess they’re aiming these at owners of the 1:1. Otherwise I see no reason to buy one.
Total bonkers in 1:12 scale. Im 100% sure ther is no market for these kind of cars in this scale.
But maybe some 1:12 figure collectors will find it helpful.
I find models of ordinary cars, such as this one, and scale figures, are the ideal display companions of supercars or special vehicles as they make them really stand out for their exciting lines and proportions. In that respect I can understand the appeal of models of such normal cars. But, yes, 1:12 deserves full acess and to be done in fine detail too, so that these sidekick models can also shine for themselves and not just provide a sort of 3d background to the main model.
