We haven’t heard much from budget-friendly brand Classic Model Replicars in recent memory. However, the team is back with an iconic race-ready Jaguar. We have the XJR-12 #3 Winner 24h LeMans 1990, drivers Nielsen, Cobb/Brundle, and the XJR-9 #60 Winner 24h Daytona 1988, drivers Brundle/Boesel/Nielsen. There is no word on North American delivery at this time.
Product# CMR202 / CMR215
I believe the Silk Cut car is the XJR-12. The Castrol car is an XJR-9D, the Daytona spec (XJR-9LM was the Le Mans version).
Both are already released in Europe. They have opening doors but no engine access. Still, a decent alternative to the old Exoto XJR-9 and Spark and AutoBarn’s XJR-12s, at a very reasonable price. I’m a bit dubious about the purple on the XJR-12 though, as it seems to be darker in most photos and on those other models.
Thanks for the insight, our stab at the correct model was wrong. Corrected.
It’s an XJR-9D and an XJR-12. There’s no XJR-9LM, at least at the moment.
I love the unique body style on those. I hope I can get one when they come out!
