Is there a reason that GP Replicas have depicted the Union Flag upside down, or is it just their normal lack of attention to detail – like the single oil cooler on the back of Rindt’s Lotus 49C from Monaco 1970, instead of the correct twin arrangement. (I emailed them with images well before production, they of course ignored me as they are so much better at research & checking…) . Remind me – how much do they charge for their error ridden efforts?
There is a reason – the flag Mansell was given during the track invasion was upside down. You can see it in the video here, hopefully it will work:

As a Brit myself, I’d bet that 90% of the population wouldn’t notice the flag being upside down without being prompted, so I’m not surprised that an F1 fan didn’t notice their flag was wrong.
Yep, I emailed them about the inaccuracies with their fw19 as soon as the first preproduction images were released. They said it was all in hand, never fixed them.
More they try, more i like my Exoto
Yes, Exotos are in fact better. But they haven’t released a GOOD model in forever, and GP is providing an option for someone that does not want to pay the inflated prices on the secondary market.
