MotorHelix Confirms 1:18 Mitsubishi Lance Evolution IX?

It seems the team at MotoHelix is busy scanning the 1:1 Mitsubishi Lance Evolution IX.  An option to the past successes like the AUTOart version or not-so-great replicas is welcomed.  What scale, colour and variants are in the works is still under wraps.  More to come!

I like motorhelix and everything they’ve been up to. Interested to see how it compares to the Super A releases. Those were well executed and offered some tuner versions.

Super A is cool and all, I think I have 4-5 of them. But they are just copies of the old Autoart mould so it would be nice to get a fresh scan

      • Mike Wiseman says:

Super A actually improved the design on the headlights and taillights compared to Autoart as well as the hinges on the front bonnet. Plus offering a larger assortment of variations… for the Evo IX anyways. I have the white with carbon fiber hood and white rims from Super A. A pretty cool version that wasn’t made by Autoart.

        • Wes says:

Yeah the plastic bits were improved and I absolutely love the wild tuned versions with the carbon hood and diffuser. I just meant the metal body is still exactly the same. And the engines – bless them, they tried but they’re utter shit lol

I hope Motorhelix will also consider the wagon version of the Evo IX (Ralliart version would be even better). So far, nobody makes an opening model of the Evo IX Wagon.
