We don’t share a lot of news on the Maisto brand as communication has been a challenge. News from the camp highlights painted sample photos of their upcoming 1:18 metal and opening Ford Mustang GTD. And we must say, the results are quite impressive! This model will fall under their Special Edition series.

I have to say, Maisto has captured the look very well! The model is very appealing, and I personally like the color chosen. Nice work Maisto!
I like Maisto because in addition to their budget prices, they have very good quality control (unlike some other brands that are more EXPENSIVE!). I have several Maisto models in my collection and am quite satisfied with them for these reasons. An added bonus is that each fall, you can get their 1:18’s at Costco for $16.99 apiece leading up to the holiday season — an unbelievable bargain!
Three cheers to Maisto for making a model of a car as desirable as this that everyone can afford. It’s puzzle to me why there isn’t an aftermarket modelling scene where these models could be upgraded.
