We have the 1:12 scale WERK83 1:12 Ferrari F1 F300 Winner – Michael Schumacher replica. Not knowing much of the brand, as it seems geared towards the European market, it is definitely budget-friendly focused. I did get to see some of their race assortment in the flesh on a recent visit to the Nürburgring, as many of the aligning shops that surround the main grounds of the information centre had some in stock and for sale. You are looking at a mix of KK Scale and Solido execution.

WERK83 seems to be a brand of manufacturer IXO. The model I have is a Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa in its 1961 iteration, and you are right to make the connection with KK-Scale, a better known brand for 1:18 scale models. The configuration – diecast and sealed – follows the KK-Scale route, and I think the execution is very good for its price point, being crisp in its details and looking very good overall. FYI, I’m not one of those collectors who is fussy about minute details, I like models that are aesthetically pleasing and don’t worry too much about their “correctness” or “authenticity”, within reason.
I agree on the smaller details too… I’m not sure of their alignment with IXO. I did not examine the packaging in detail to see any IXO branding. Good for the hobby, especially if you are motivated by race cars, new and old.
