There’s a new player in the resin game!  Kyosho enters the resin-cast playground with their new ‘Samurai’ Series.  The initial theme will focus primarily on Japanese cars with a slew of new releases in 1:18 and 1:12 that we will highlight here.  The goal here is to produce a high-end resin-cast model that surpasses all expectations.  Based on the initial images, they’re off to a good start.  Samurai, as defined by Kyosho: “As sword of the samurai has opened up an era, “Samurai” will lead you to the world of the new miniature model.  As the figure of the samurai to show off ourselves in appearance,  “Samurai” will captivate you with only its proportions.”  Pricing ranges from $150-$350 CND, based on our simple math.

The above feature is a pair of 1:18 Skyline 350GT Hybrids, one painted in Crystal White Pearl, and the second in Hagane Blue.  Both are limited to 500 pieces worldwide.  Their first entry in 1:12 scale is the classic Toyota 2000GT.  Two colours will be issued, Pegasus White and Solar Red.  Each limited to 700/300 units respectively.  Closing out the 1:18 scale new additions are the Toyota Vellfire 3.5ZG Edition – Black/White Pearl Crystal Shine (L.E. 500), the Toyota Crown Hybrid Athlete G – Pink /White Pearl (L.E. 650/400), and finally the Toyota Century – Kamui Black/Mashu Dark Blue (L.E. 700/400).
