About the Ford Capri Turbo… “In the German racing car championships in the 1970s, Ludwig drove Ford%u2019s touring vehicles. In the overall annual ranking he achieved overall second place in both 1975 and 1976. Finally in 1979 he achieved the placing of overall champion in a Kremer-Porsch-935. In this racing vehicle, which is based on the street vehicle, the Porsche 911 Turbo, he furthermore claimed the overall victory in the 24 hour race in Le Mans despite continuous downpour and the fact that he was racing against faster, more pure bred sport prototypes. Additionally he took home the victory in 1981 again as the DRM champion, this time though in a Zakspeed-Ford Capri Turbo.”
