Is the Vanquish in ABS composite or Diecast? Because as far as i know, Resins don’t open
Composite.
Both as bad as each other, in their lazy attempts to squeeze maximum profits out of collectors.
I certainly would buy the Vanquish if it was diecast.
Apparently Fronti-Art use a different formula and their resin is much tougher, which is why they can afford to do opening parts. One guy says he went to their factory and stood on a resin shell of the koenigsegg
They do open with Frontiart but they may have used some metal parts in the process. But remember that you have to pay big time for such outstanding quality. Are they overpriced? Not if you compare to them the likes of BBR/MR. But the labor cost in China is a fraction compared to western parts of the world, so yes, maximum profit here. But the main question: are they worth it? Absolutely!
