Another manufacturer is bringing forward a 1:18 version of the Jaguar F-Type R Coupe. TopSpeed shows off some samples images of their sealed, resin, Jaguar F-Type R Coupe in Polaris White and Firesand Metallic. I personally love this car, the styling, the sound, near perfect in my opinion! Though there is something about this replica’s tire size that just looks that little bit off. Is it just me? I’ve been dying for someone to make this model. Now the Top Speed is on it’s way as well as Autoart’s composite.
On second look there is more than just tires issues here. Hopefully they are addressed before production…
Agreed. I put the picture of the model side by side with a picture of the 1:1 car and there are quite a few differences. I e-mailed them to see if they were planning to change the tires, but no response yet.

Dear Sir,
Thank you for your interest in our Jaguars! In order for us to release this model we have to have final approval from the designers at Jaguar. The designers will look closely at the wheel and tire size and if they feel that it does not meet their standards of what the actual car looks like then they will not approve our model.

AUTOart’s composite will be better than this sealed one. To obtain the license to make such a stunning car and then do a lazy job of it is a waste.
