BBR is back with a new 1:18 scale model, the 1950 Alfa Romeo Freccia d’Oro 1° Carrera Panamericana is going into production. Model will be released November/December 2016 with two race versions being made available, the #90 and #103 car. Each is limited to 150 pieces worldwide. Each is available in premium version with leather base and display.
About the Alfa Romeo… “In 1950 Alfa Romeo sent two ‘Freccia d’Oro’ cars direct from the factory to contest the inaugural ‘La Carrera Panamericana Mexico’. Two top drivers, Piero Taruffi and Felice Bonetto, together with mechanics/co drivers were chosen as factory drivers. The car stayed in Mexico for 60 years, and last year Mr Corrado Lopresto brought it back to Italy and restored it.”
