Not sure why MINICHAMPS is making the Atlantic, as both AUTOart and CMC make one…and probably better than this one.
And as there’s a resin piece of Neo as well…..
Out of 4 Atlantic made there are only 3 left. Each one has significant differences. This one is currently in the Mullins museum in Oxnard and was reproduced in the past by NEO only (long sold out). CMC did only one Atlantic, currently owned by Ralph Lauren. So it makes sense for Minichamps to make that one and sell it as part of their Mullins Museum line but unfortunately it is a sealed resin piece…
This one’s ugly, compared with the other two. They have their lights further up the wings, not grovelling along the gutter.
Plus, the AUTOart and CMC versions are both non-sealed like all good models are.
Probably one the most beautiful car of all times. But you find it ugly… Well, to each his own like they say. And the CMC literally leaves the Autoart in the dust. Yes it is cheaper but too many errors were done by AA. Not worth considering imo.
