If you have been living under a rock for the last week or so you may have missed the news, the highly anticipated Schuco Porsche Cayman GT4 made it to market, as well as the 911 Targa 4 GTS in Saphire Blue. I’m fortunate enough to have both sitting right next to me, I’ll share a reviews of both as soon as I get off my lazy butt!

I just received mine last week. Beautiful model to say the least. I only wished they offered it in that “Iceland Blue” color as well. But the yellow version I purchased is almost in the league of a Highly Detailed Autoart model. Very please.
Agreed! I just noticed the sample images of the yellow are missing the hood badge. A friend emailed earlier today to say his model was missing the badge too. Oh the lack of quality control!
It I do agree with Micheal Rogers. With the Cayman model Schuco did a really great job. But yes – there are some quality issues. I had to change one time due to sloppy paintwork, a paint chip and a molding flaw at the backside rims and I red some similar comments in the collectors community online yet. However my second model was completely flawless and on par with the stunning recently released Schuco 911 GTS and the AutoArt Porsche DieCasts. Pity though, Schuco obviously could not maintain this high level to the both new 70ies 911S and 911S Targa models – although they have noticeably higher manufacturer prices.
My Cayman seems issue free, friends was missing front bade. My Targa had the loose rotor, nothing major and easy fix. What puzzles me is the price hike from the initial 991 GTS Carrera 99 Euro, while the Cayman and Targa are 129+. Cars seems the same to me!
