BBR Ferrari F40 LM – Black & Sliver

BBR lifts the covers off the Silver and Black exterior 1:18 Ferrari F40 LM.  The cars both wear the skin well, each would be a welcomed edition to any Ferrari collection.  Both models ship with an attractive base and display cover.  The F40 Silver and Black are limited to only 99 pieces worldwide.

About the F40…  “The Ferrari F40 is a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive, two-door coupé sports car built from 1987 to 1992 (up to 1994 for the LM and 1996 for the GTE). The successor to the Ferrari 288 GTO, it was designed to celebrate Ferrari’s 40th anniversary and was the last Ferrari automobile personally approved by Enzo Ferrari. At the time it was the fastest, most powerful, and most expensive car that Ferrari sold to the public.  Following to the numerous requests from Ferrari’s chairman, Daniel Marin to Ferrari Enzo for preparing a version of the F40 for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, at the beginning of 1989 they built in cooperation with Michelotto Cars two race cars known with the name of F40 LM.  Michelotto Automobili prepared other six copies (in total seven) known as the F40 GTE, which was considered the latest evolution made specifically to compete in the Championship BPR Global GT Series.”
