Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 in Grabber Blue hits you first with its presence. The colour isn’t just bright—it’s assertive, almost daring the rest of the traffic to keep up. On a car already shaped by aggression and purpose, Grabber Blue amplifies every line and crease, giving the GT500 a visual punch that matches its 760‑horsepower reality. It’s the kind of spec that turns a routine walk‑around into an event, because the paint makes the car feel alive even when it’s parked.

Out on the road, the combination feels even more deliberate. The GT500’s supercharged V8, dual‑clutch gearbox, and track‑bred chassis deliver the kind of performance that demands your attention, and the colour reinforces that attitude. Grabber Blue isn’t subtle, but neither is the GT500—it’s a pairing that makes perfect sense. As a reviewer, it’s one of those rare specs where the aesthetics and the engineering speak the same language: bold, unapologetic, and built to be remembered.

Model-wise, the overall execution is on par with the recently reviewed Dodge Challenger SRT Jailbreak, also from AUTOart. The brand continues to deliver competent, well-built replicas with solid detailing and reliable assembly quality. That said, these strengths now arrive at a noticeably higher price point than many competitors. Is the premium justified? In our view, no. AUTOart remains good, but not better.

The Mustang Shelby GT500 follows the familiar AUTOart formula: a full-access replica with composite bodywork. The use of composite material doesn’t detract from the model at all—if anything, it allows for crisp panel lines and consistent paint application that rival, and sometimes surpass, metal-bodied alternatives. Under the hood, the motor is attractively detailed, and the interior benefits from flocking, simple textures, and thoughtful small touches that elevate the overall presentation. It’s a genuinely appealing piece.

The real challenge comes down to choosing the right exterior finish. With multiple colours on offer, each with its own personality, deciding which one deserves a spot in your display case may be the toughest decision of all.  Enjoy the pics!
