As I have reviewed Solido 1:18 Porsche 911 (964) RWBs here on DiecastSociety.com in other colours (green Pandora One and orange Hibiki), today I will concentrate on a photo gallery of a new colour. In the past, the orange spec was my personal favourite…well until now. This new release 911 (964) RWB Hekigyoku is definitely a new winner for me. The shine of purple metallic paint, deep dish gold with silver rims, and light interior accents on the seats and door panels were just too hard to resist. To me, this is like icing on the cake.
This model comes from the Solido budget-friendly brand and is manufactured in die-cast metal with opening doors. As with all Solido models in 1:18th scale, this one is packaged in the usual Solido box with see-through plastic on the front, top and both sides. Previous specs had mirrors attached to the body shell, and this one follows. The level of detail and quality is unchanged, and l think this example is a great addition to the list of colours currently available. If you would like to read in more detail and see the other colour options, please read my review posted HERE. With so many Porsche admirers, any new configuration is always welcomed. I wonder which is your personal favourite? The earlier green and orange releases, or this new purple metallic? Let me know in the comments below… and enjoy the pics!
Luk, thanks again for providing some Solido perspective. Seems all levels of collectors appreciate the RWB Porsche in one form or another. I believe the GREEN Panda One with the Honeycomb wheels is their best to date!
