Our 2018 Model of the Year trophy has finally made it to its final pitstop at the Almost Real headquarters in China. The team was kind to share some photos of the winning model next to the trophy we presented earlier this year. For those who are not in the know, Almost Real took first place for DiecastSociey.com’s 2018 Model of the Year – the winning model their 1:18 Land Rover Defender 110 Camel Trophy Edition. This was voted by you, the collector. For us, it was a well-deserved win. Enjoy the pics!
Small wonder that if the trophy takes 3 months to get there, models take an eternity to arrive in our cabinets. My Camel Trophy isnt here yet. No sign of delivery of any of the Mulsannes despite the samples. No reply to my enquiery concerning the Jaguar XFL.
The delivery is more to our doing and it is more like six weeks delivery, not three months. If you understand shipping costs in Canada you would understand how one gets rapped when sending anything outside this great country of ours.
Can´t Catch this at any Store… SOLD OUT IN PREORDER..
