Very aggressive, but somewhat reminiscent of the strip on the Porsche 911 GT3RS.

Is this the same livery as that of the one for Drift in Transformer 5?

Wow! I dislike Mercedes alot. Not a fan, but i must say that this piece is very Beautiful..AR really did a great job with this one. My goodness. Well done..The engine again is average at best with all that plastic covering..The hood and hatch hinges are awesome. Interior stitching is awesome also..

A couple of things revealed by the pics:
#1 Vents in the hood are definitely solid
    #2 No tire branding
#3 Side blades on the wings have the original square holes
That the interior air vents really don’t have carbon toppings can be seen on other pictures out there.

All of this in contrast to AA.
Just for those who are (some quite literally) weighing AR against AA AMG GT R

KARSTEN: Clearly you were talking about my comments about the AR version and my preference for it where I said that I favored the feel of diecast over plastic, but unless you’re illiterate it was more than clear that this was far from the reason for my overall preference of the model.

Since you like checklists to discredit models, I’ll give you one that HOPEFULLY makes it easy as to why I think the AR one is better, and again, I’ve had both models next to each other.

      1. AR has accurate paint color and accurate shine while the AA is WAY to pale in color and the finish is to flat (at least on the green model)
      2. AR has multiple parts to the engine and is exceptionally finishing compared to the AA model that has a large molded piece with only different colors to differentiate parts.
      3. I prefer the AR interior and feel it has more detail, but I also like the AA interior.
      4. YES, diecast feels better, and to repeat, that is FAR from the only reason from why I prefer the AA model, but it sure as hell is a benefit of the model!

*price – this figured nowhere in my decision since I paid nearly the same for each on ebay.

I’m sorry, but unless you’re OCD and fixated with the things you point out (tire branding, etc.) or have to pay substantially more for the AR version then I feel that the AR will just be the better model for most people.

So what’s the verdict? AR or AA?

    • DS Team says:

LOL, either or. Both have pros and cons, buy the cheaper priced of the two.

      • Karsten says:

That would be the AA then … if the AR is available at all in your sphere. Here ARs are very elusive. If there is QC issue, dealer most probably does not even have a replacement, because they’re so rare.

Karsten, I’d probably try to make mountains out of molehills about things with otherwise superior models if I couldn’t get them in my country too. :D
