I wonder how many more ways could they possibly milk this one before finally moving onto their other much anticipated projects? People may hate me for saying this, but I wouldn’t mind a 4dr version of this with all opening features. But then again, that means more tooling costs…

I understand the maximum exploitation of a model, AUTOart is doing it through simply all the colours of the rainbow (see McLaren post). But hardly anyone will get all the variations. That’s why I wouldn’t recommend going the length of just adding rear doors. More importantly their Huayra Roadster needs to enter the arena to be able and face the competition as long as the game is on.

AR keeps realeasing this models… Nothing new from their lineup, years and years to release the Paganis. I always tought they would be AA great competitor but they got lost in the way.

  4. JIMMY says:

Agreed. It has been disappointing with regards to the rate of release of certain models from many companies. At some point, they won’t be able to use COVID-19 as an excuse even though it’s been happening for years. Not sure what the excuse is in this case though

I agree it’s uncomfortable and irritating to have to make decisions about buying a Pagani without having all the options on the table. Given the quality of AR it would be sad, though, to see AR disappear and leave AA without competition. Would’nt do the hobby any service. Competition is good for us collectors!

Well, I’ll take the other side here. As someone who loves Land/Range Rovers, I’m excited to see a bunch of high quality diecasts of these vehicles. I have SWB & LWB Camel Trophy Landies, and Camel Trophy & Street Range Rovers. I said “enough” after the last one, but this looks so good, I’ll be getting it as well. Everybody makes supercars, but hardly anyone is doing quality SUVs, and I think Almost Real is simply capitalizing on a under-served part of the market. Good on them.

I wouldn´t mind if my long-awaited dirty 110 Camel finally made it to market either, while everything else 4×4 does. Customers get frustrated when promised something that never materialises.
