    Looks decent

  2. Fede Roloff says:

Many details of BBR’s product are wrong, and Bburago’s is even less wrong

  3. JIMMY says:

Can they at least paint the window seals black to have an honest attempt at making the car look more realistic? Would probably cost a few pennies per model to do so?

That’s my biggest issue with Bburago Ferrari models, particularly the LaFerrari and its variants.

  4. WA7 says:

More recycled trash from Bburago…well done indeed, they really have out-done themselves with this ‘new’ model! Awful company with no clue whatsoever!

    • Ryser says:

Bonjour , tu a raison , quand c était Mattel qui avait la licence , les modèles étaient beaucoup plus beaux , burago est pour les enfants .

  5. SamtheCat says:

I find it funny when people here complain that Bburago is “recycling” models, yet if MR, BBR and the like release 300 “different” versions of their “limited” cars they have no problem with it. Correct me if I’m wrong, but the FXXK Evo from Bburago was made prior only in 1 colour for the Signature, 1 colour for the Race&Play, and 1 for CLDC exclusive. Not everyone here can buy 10 BBRs a month, so the Bburago is the only alternative, which is not perfect, but it’s way better than older models, and it’s much better than not having an alternative at all.

Some people tend to forget that Bburago is mainly aimed to kids and people who are starting, as we all did. If it weren’t for brands as such, no kid would start collecting nor fueling their love for cars, and our hobby would die.

If something as the window sills not being black bothers some so much (and yes, I agree it could have been done better), you can easily paint it yourself, but for Bburago would mean a price increase that I’m sure they calculated as not worth it. And I hope you’re exponentialy critic with the cheap details most top brands try to sell us at a premium. Bburago are “toys”, so they can have “toyish” overlooks. BBR, Autoart, etc are “collector models”, so their quality should be as such. BBR CAN’T have dog legs without hydraulics when the Bburago SP1 has them, and Autoart CAN’T Have molded carbon Fiber in a 350€ car when Motor Max has a full-carbon Huayra for 30.

Thanks for attending my Ted Talk.

    • DS Team says:

The comparison between the other brands isn’t necessarily all that fair. Yes, there might be an infinite amount of variants, but they are dealing with Ferraris, and there are fans that want the unique piece or colours. And at least both MR and BBR keep up with the trend, is getting to market the latest offering from Ferrari. And, that is where the frustration is for the most part. There is no middle ground for the average collector.

    • Raymond says:

Totally well said, it’s sad to note that there are a very established “look down upon” attitude towards collectors of Bburago products and collectors, even in fan groups that collect diecasts. Not everyone can collect hundreds of $500, or even more, models, but the passion is certainly there and should be respected and cherished. For those looking down on Bburago models, they really should take a look at their recent offerings like the Sian, which is to me nothing short of beautiful. Just have fun guys.

    • xaml says:

I usually cannot stand the fashionable, attention-craving tendencies of these talks, but I fully agree with you on the inanity of complacent elitism in regards to this manufacturer, Samuel.

  6. Petesy says:

    Simple: Bburago = junk!

    • DS Team says:

Come on, they serve a purpose for budget concise collectors. Their product is not junk. The main issue is speed to market with Ferrari products, and their Signature line lacking in refinement.

      • Dons says:

Sorry DS Team, I am Italian and yes, Bburago are junk! Here in Italy they are regarded as throw away toys for bambino/children. They are of bad quality and they have never been respected for serious model makers. When it was told that they have the Ferrari licence, we as italian collectors laugh and are still laughing today.

        • DS Team says:

They were NEVER intended for ‘serious’ collectors. The problem is there is no middle ground for those that do not want to spend $500 plus sealed and resin example from BBR.MR and others.

Alternatives today are slim to none; KK Scale is filling some gaps, but again, limited detail and sealed. HWE was the perfect mix of detail and value, unfortunately, we don’t think there is a brand that can fill that gap, possibly Norev.

          • JimmyP says:

Indeed, Norev is the only real manufacturer that has the skill to take on the Ferrari licence and produce with success.

  7. Colin Spence says:

I have just ordered this from Carmodel based on seeing this. I am an avid Ferrari 1:18 car collector but I no longer can justify prices of £300+ for a model. Bburago do a reasonable job with their Signature Series and although I agree that they are no match, nor do they try to be, for the Big Boys, they do offer great value. After HW lost the licence new releases from Bburago have been slow. Why oes it take them so long to announce F12TDF, 488 Pista, F8 Tributo, SF90 Stradle etc in 1:18. They wait so long you wonder if these will ever be released in the big scale. If they are not, there is a big hole in market for a mid class model. I assume KK are tied to older models and have no licence for new models. BBR obviously do but out of my price range so my collection could come to a stuttering stop.

  8. MartinD says:

Yes this is more terrible scale models form Bburagos. They no idea what to make for Ferrari, they keep making same cars again and again. I no buy these Ferrari models as they are no good. Hot Wheels elite was great company making great model cars for the peoples. Bburago is no good and slow.
