What am I missing here…?
The video is of a real car, not a model, and it’s of a 289 continuation sort of.
Kyosho lists their model as a 427 S/C which is COMPLETELY different. What is the point of this video? The only thing the model might barely have in common is the color – Viking Blue.
And as some manufacturers do, Kyosho is milking their tooling, in that they have previously produced 5 versions of the 427 S/C, so presumably a 6th version is now in the works.
Correct, colour only. Nothing wrong with re-issuing classic, and rare 1:12 scale.
Yes, agreed, after all, they are in business to make money. Also, even though their 1:12 427 Cobra is based on – modeled after a 4000 series continuation car from Shelby (Not an original 427 S/C) overall it is the best anyone has produced to date, and I am very happy with the one I have of theirs.
Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint 1:18, that’s great news for those who don’t have a LMM (La Mini Miniera).
I suppose the new Kyosho will destroy my LMM in blue in terms of quality. At least I didn’t spend too much on it. I still plan to disassemble it and try to improve it, someday.
Do you guys know if both the Alfa Romeo and the Fiat 131 are going to be open die cast?

You’re right, sorry! Was so happy to see the news I didn’t read properly.
