Kyosho is back with a couple of diecast examples, these are the Shelby Cobra 427S/C and Shelby Cobra 427S/C Racing Screen in all-new colour Blue! Both are executed in 1:43 scale and feature no opening bits. The pair are set to arrive in December 2021. Retail, about $55 US.

The version with the small racing windscreen is no doubt attractive, but why don’t they finally change that ugly windscreen plus air deflectors of the other version? It’s a real eyesore and a disgrace for a model in that price category. Just changing the body color and the tyres is not enough.
Tbh changing only the windscreen wont be enough either, the mold is so inaccurate it kills any will to buy one. (Altho i got the #98 racing one from their first run).
IMO as is, the previous pack was more attractive, these color combos, especially the shade of blue, don’t really work for me. And indeed, the level of detail somehow seem to became worse than previous pack? Just shows how inconsistent Kyosho still are – i absolutely love their new lancias, and will get one, love the re-released Miura SV, waiting for re-released Countach. On the other hand there’s this cobra, or E-type.
