They seem to have gotten the idea from Gran Turismo that can be played in Gran Turismo 6 which was the BMW M2 Vision GT.
This kit from Darwinpro is indeed made to look like the VGT. GLM already released three other colors a few months ago, including white with M stripes livery, which looked exactly like the livery that the original VGT comes in.
