Not a fan of Supra, or other Japanese cars, but for sure fans will be disappointed. Such a fail with the shape of the front. Usually, Solido was pretty neat with proportions of some cars. Shame.

    Link seems to be dead

I might get the impreza – the autoart doesn’t look right (too boxy) and the top marques version looks too streamlined, like it has a 1/10 rc body. This looks okay and will be fairly cheap. I’m hoping I can add some mesh to the radiator and change out the seats and belts

It almost seems like they took that terrible 1:18 a80 Supra mold from Jada Toys and massaged it to their own liking. I also saw the unveiling videos on their Facebook page, and from my perspective, The rest of the car looks OK (although not many pictures/angles) and having the targa top on the white one is certainly a plus. But that was a letdown.

I will say that those terrible headlights will likely look better in a darker exterior color when it comes time for that.

I often feel tempted by Solido offerings, but so far I only bought the 935/78 in Martini Livery. But as usual there are some interesting subjects in their new catalogue. I might actually buy their DB5, but I need a few more photos to understand if it’s good enough. As usual I’m attracted by the nicely sculpted shape of their 1967 GT500 and their Shelby Cobra. That grey metallic Mini is also pretty lovely, and the Abarth 131 in the classic Olio Fiat blue and yellow livery, I have a soft spot for that, it might actually be a good enough alternative to the way too pricey model by Kyosho. But still, even though they’re attractively cheap, and the detail is not too bad, they still take exactly as much room as quality models do, so, eventually, I’ll probably buy no more than one of them.
