The infamous Solido Toyota Supra MK4

We finally got our hands on some production photos on the new Solido diecast metal and semi-access 1:18 Toyota Supra MK4.  These are officially presented as the Red 1993 Toyota Supra MK4 (A80) and Super White 1993 Toyota Supra MK4 Targa (A80).  Not perfect but not too bad for a budget-friendly brand.  We’re sure the sales here will be quite impressive.

I can see a slight improvement with the headlights (between this and the original prototype pictures), but there’s still something not right with the front end, especially when you look at it from head on. But most importantly, I agree that at this point, it’s just great that someone made one with at least semi-opening parts. Thank you DS team.

Not to nitpick or anything, but aren’t those Supra SZ wheels? I know they are controversial, but I wish it had RZ wheels. Again, I won’t complain too much because it’s better to have one than not.

Is there a licensing issue that explains why Autoart never released a version of this?

Looks like the white one will have a T top that can be removed… nice

Why has NOBODY done a 1/18 scale 30 series Toyota Soarer Lexus SC 300 like this one:

I owned two of these IRL and would love a model of one. They’re a great looking car and would make a fabulous model. The JDM version (Toyota) features a 2500cc 1JZ engine that’s similar to the famous 3000cc 2JZ fitted to the Supra.
