Now this is a proper way to milk a mold that you have in your inventory, in addition to using other parts from the parts bin drawer, as well as other smaller (not too expensive) modifications. This is more proper than companies that release 47 different colors.

Well, it depends, as for avialable colors maybe somebody had a real bone stock orbit orange with black interior 70 non-Judge GTO when it was brand new and would like a replica. Or an all black plain GTO with poverty caps… Or… A red “The Judge” with red interior with rally wheels or a set of Cragars. Lucky these guys have many parts to interchange for a good number of different versions! You could have a good number of customs, from the 70’s “second day” cars, modern street racers such as this one or a mild pro-touring machine. So I understand why manufacturers make the most out of their tools and they are doing it. I admit I like these GTO’s as the tooling is excellent, same as a lot of other Acme models. So is this more proper than a color change, maybe, to me it’s a matter of opinion and yours is just as good as mine.
