** UPDATE ** AUTOart just released photos of their upcoming Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray Z51 in Ceramic Matrix Grey Metallic exterior. Neat combination with the Blue accents within the interior side. This one is also due to arrive in July 2024.
AUTOart unveils this July 2024 delivery, the 1:18 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray Z51 in Sebring Orange with Silver wheels. This replica also features a removable roof and full access to the motor, storage and interior. Is it us, or is there something a miss with the wheel/tire size?

I noticed the same issue with Autoart wheels for some of their latest models, too, including the Corvette C7 ZR1 and their Nissan R35 Nismo 2022. I thought it was just me. Wheels seem a bit too small. Either that or the ground clearance is a bit too high and the empty space (distance) between the tires and the wheel arches is too generous. Sad since Autoart was known for the best reproduced wheels in the business.
The engine details seem to be at the level of 1:43 models…
I was hoping that the details of AutoArt’s Nissan GT-R R34 (engine, suspension) indicate the beginning of a new composite era where engine details are taken seriously rather than as the least important thing… but seems I was wrong.
It seems like they put more effort into Japanese cars than they do to “foreign” supercars. I don’t have a lot of New AA models, but the aforementioned R34 and KPGC110 from their composite series have a very nice level of detail.
The actual C8 does seem to have small wheels in every pictures, even if they’re 20″. That’s just the design imo.
So I guess Aa is right about that in this model.
The price is too cheap. Will my favorite brand Amalgam be making this? I need at least 100 to give out to the next meeting of the Young Men of OPEC Foundation.
