GP Replicas Ferrari126CK (1981) Production Sample

GP Replicas is sharing some new photos of their upcoming 1:18 Ferrari126CK (1981).  This model is more impactful, as it is shedding its upper layer, revealing more internal details.  Not typical of the GP Replicas of old.  Look for this in early 2025.

If only it had rolling wheels, I’d be sold on this

    • spikyone says:

Are you going to push it around the floor making “vroom vroom” noises? Seems a ridiculous thing to be bothered by.

      • Andrei M says:

It’s not ridiculous at all at the asking price of €450. It should have rolling and turning wheels and a driver figure. Stop accepting anything less for these prices. I can get an old Exoto that has them all for that price. There’s so competition currently that’s why they are all so lazy and greedy.

I agree with you that any models that are sealed and/or resin with no rolling wheels is indeed a sign of laziness

      • Aaron says:

Contrary to what you assume, I actually don’t play around Diecast cars like that. I simply display them just like resins. My personal preference is models with moving parts even if they don’t get played around with

These look fabulous, despite the real car being a bit ugly to say the least. Fantastic to see all of that detail.

Carmodel are listing this as being available early in the second half of the year. They’re also quoting a price of nearly €450 at the moment; if so they will cost a fair chunk more than a regular GP Replicas model.

  3. Christopher says:

I really have a lot of GP replicas here and I’m very happy with all of them, especially BECAUSE they don’t roll around in the display case and don’t have stupid driver figures.
I was also looking forward to the Openable, but I’m going to skip it.
    The price is unreasonable.
With all due respect for the effort and the ingenious solutions, they’re simply asking for too much money here.
