MotorHelix continues to flex with its latest project: metal and fully opening 1:18 Koenigsegg Jesko and Jesko Twin‑Turbo V8 scale models. Based on the initial images, it’s clear the brand intends to keep pushing for market share by delivering high‑spec pieces that aim to impress collectors and, ideally, hold long‑term value.
That said, the announcement lands with a bit of disappointment on our end. The market has been saturated with Koenigsegg—and Pagani, for that matter—across opening, mid‑range, and high‑end segments. We’ve shared this feedback with MotorHelix and hope it doesn’t fall on deaf ears. With any luck, the next round of announcements will steer toward something genuinely fresh and exciting.

I don’t see this announcement as disappointing at all. Unless I’m mistaken, we don’t currently have any Jesko diecast models with openigns, only resin, sealed versions from GT Spirit and FrontiArt. This looks like a very promising release, with impressive craftsmanship. While AA is still refining the CAD for their Jesko with no prototypes to show, MH could easily capture a significant market share. I just hope they don’t go crazy with pricing.
Totally agree with you. I think this is an exciting release and the quality of details seems to be at a high and welcome range. Sure, we could take a break with all the Pagani’s that lcd and almost real can’t stop cranking out. But, Koenigsegg and Bugatti in this quality level are very welcome. Also Autoart is not a serious player anymore. It takes them 5 years now to get anything done, if even. So Autoart announcing something is not a reason for collectors to take notice or to bash on other releases, because in the current state you can forget about owning those models within a reasonable time frame, and quality has also been better in the past than nowadays.
So keep it up Motorhelix, and don’t give too much weight to the criticism of diecast society.
I just wish the Agera “R” would get this sweet fully opening 1/18 treatment as well
If Koenigsegg is playing ball with MotorHelix, there is likely more to come.
